He said that in 2005, Late Ram Vilas Paswan had proposed to make a Muslim face the Chief Minister, but RJD refused. If the Muslim Chief Minister had been accepted, RJD would have formed a coalition government. The same mistake is being made again.
He further said that we had gone to Lalu Prasad Yadav with the letter of alliance, but he did not say anything. Now we are free. We are being forced to contest separate elections. Our party is prepared to contest elections at 100.
Imam said that if talks do not work out with the Grand Alliance, the party will contest the elections with the Third Front. On the question of alliance with Jan Suraj Party, he said that Prashant Kishor himself has said that he will not forge an alliance with anyone. There has been no talk with him yet.
Now Owaisi will decide
The state president said that his party chief Asaduddin Owaisi is coming to Bihar this month. After which it will be decided with which party there will be an alliance and on which seat the party will contest the elections.
