New Delhi: Actor-model Samreen Kaur has fiercely responded to social media trolls who accused her of dating Indian cricketer Arshdeep Singh solely for fame.
In a powerful Instagram post, Kaur addressed the relentless judgment and negativity surrounding her relationship, highlighting the double standards women often face online.
Kaur emphasized her independent journey, revealing she has been financially self-sufficient since the age of 17, traveling to over 20 countries and building her own successful life. She expressed gratitude for the opportunities that have allowed her to maintain her lifestyle independently, without relying on anyone else.
Regarding her relationship with Arshdeep Singh, Kaur stated she feels incredibly fortunate to have found someone who completes her, and whose bond she doesn’t owe anyone an explanation for. She criticized the hypocrisy of social media users, who either judge women for keeping relationships private or for openly expressing their love.
Kaur also called out women who tear down other women, describing the unnecessary opinions and negativity as exhausting. She confirmed that her team would block individuals spreading hate, asserting that her profile is not a platform for personal frustrations.
