What is PM-Kisan Yojana?
Under the PM-Kisan Yojana, eligible farmers get Rs 6,000 annually in three equal installments of Rs 2,000, which are directly added to their bank accounts. The objective of this initiative is to provide financial assistance to small and marginal farming families holding arable land. Farmers will have to complete their e-KYC process to achieve 20th installment. Also, it has to be ensured that their Aadhaar is connected to their bank account and the exact land records are maintained. This scheme has emerged as one of the major welfare initiatives of the government. It provides important financial assistance to farming families in rural India.

Beneficiaries can fix these mistakes by using the ‘State Transfer Request’ option on the PM-Kisan portal or by visiting a Common Service Center (CSC). Farmers can check their payment status on PMKISAN.Gov.in, update the details or verify their name in the beneficiary list.
