Yash’s Children Ayra, Yatharv Get First Big Screen Experience at ‘Ramayana’ LA Premiere

Bengaluru, Karnataka: Superstar Yash’s children, Ayra and Yatharv, experienced their first-ever movie on the big screen at the Los Angeles premiere of their father’s much-anticipated film ‘Ramayana’.

This special event marked a memorable family moment for the ‘KGF’ star.

Seven-year-old Ayra and Yatharv, who celebrated his seventh birthday on October 30, watched the cinematic adaptation of the Indian epic, directed by Namit Malhotra. This premiere holds particular significance for Yash, who not only portrays the powerful character of Ravana in the two-part adaptation but is also actively involved in its production through his banner, Monster Mind Creations. For his children, however, the film will forever be linked to their inaugural cinema hall experience.

Yash and his wife, actor Radhika Pandit, have previously shared the meaningful origins behind their children’s names. Ayra’s name is inspired by Airavathi, an epithet associated with Goddess Lakshmi, while Yatharv signifies ‘complete.’ The couple also revealed that their son’s name thoughtfully combines elements from Yash, Radhika, and Ayra’s names.

‘Ramayana’ boasts a stellar cast, featuring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Ravana, Sunny Deol as Hanuman, and Ravie Dubey as Lakshman. The film, directed by Tiwari and produced by Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios in collaboration with DNEG and Yash’s Monster Mind Creations, is envisioned as a grand two-part epic. ‘Ramayana: Part 1’ is slated for a worldwide release on November 5, 2026, with the second part expected during Diwali 2027.
