In Jawa area of Aligarh, 18 year old Hindu youth Karan was brutally stabbed to death by Muslim youth. Police arrested 8 accused, while security has been tightened amid tension in the area.
A heart-wrenching incident took place on Sunday in Jawa area of Aligarh district of Uttar Pradesh. Karan, an 18-year-old Hindu youth, was dragged out of his own house by more than half a dozen Muslim youths, beaten brutally and took his life by stabbing him with sharp knives. This incident created a huge sensation in the area.
As soon as the murder came to light, there was chaos in the family of the deceased. Family members and local people created a ruckus by protesting outside the Jawa police station. Jawa police station chief and field unity team reached the spot, took possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem.
Police filed report against Ghatak accused, eight arrested
On the basis of the complaint lodged by the relatives of the deceased, the police registered a case against eight named accused including Arshad Khan. Interrogation of the arrested accused is continuing. Since the matter is related to both the communities, security has been tightened in the district and heavy police force has been deployed.

Deceased Karan had recently come from Noida, murder took place at night.
The mother of the deceased told that Karan used to work as a laborer in Noida. On the night of October 11, he came home around 10 pm and at around 1.30 am, some Muslim youths forcefully dragged him out of the house, first beat him and then stabbed him to death. There is mourning due to this painful incident.
Police action and investigation continues
Area Officer III Sarvam Singh said that as soon as information about the incident was received on the midnight of 11 to 12 October, the police immediately reached the spot. The investigation has been started by sending the body for post-mortem. Currently, eight accused including Idris Khan are arrested and they are being interrogated for further legal action.
