PM Modi Meets Qualcomm CEO Cristiano R Amon: Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Cristiano R Amon, President and CEO of America’s leading semiconductor company Qualcomm. Both discussed the developments taking place in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI), semiconductor and innovation in India. In this meeting, there was also discussion about Qualcomm’s semiconductor mission in India and cooperation in AI projects. This meeting took place at PM Modi’s residence on Lok Kalyan Marg. Qualcomm President and CEO Cristiano R Amon shared a photo of his meeting with Modi on Instagram. He wrote, “Thank you, Prime Minister Modi, for the great conversation on fostering a comprehensive partnership between Qualcomm and India in support of India AI and the India Semiconductor Mission. Prime Minister Modi Talks with Qualcomm CEO Cristiano R Amon on India’s progress in AI and innovation. He praised Qualcomm’s commitment to India’s semiconductor and AI projects. Qualcomm will increase business in India
Qualcomm has planned to expand its business in India. The company is working with Indian firms to bring the prices of smart glasses at par with traditional glasses. Qualcomm India President Savi Soin said that they are working towards bringing audio smart glasses at an affordable price, which will be equipped with better technology at a slightly higher price than normal glasses.
Qualcomm’s role in AI and semiconductor mission
Qualcomm has expressed desire for larger partnerships to support India’s AI and semiconductor missions.
