Abhishek Bachchan Wins First Filmfare Award : Abhishek Bachchan won the Best Lead Actor (Male) award for the first time for his 2024 film ‘I Want to Talk’ at the 70th Filmfare Awards 2025 held in Ahmedabad on Saturday, October 11. He shared this honor with Kartik Aryan, who won the award for ‘Chandu Champion’.
Amitabh Bachchan’s son and Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan won the Best Male Actor (Male) award for the first time for his film ‘I Want to Talk’ at the Filmfare Awards 2025 held in Ahmedabad. He shared this honor with Kartik Aryan. After receiving the award, Abhishek became emotional on stage. He said, “It has not been easy, but this time I was sure about it.” He thanked his family, film producers and fans. However, his wife Aishwarya Rai and daughter Aaradhya did not attend the event.
Abhishek became very emotional while receiving the award. He kept looking at his black trophy again and again. This occasion became even more special because his father Amitabh Bachchan was celebrating his 83rd birthday.

Abhishek thanked the jury saying, “This year I have completed 25 years in the film industry, and I don’t remember how many times I have practiced my speech for this award. It has been a dream, and I am very emotional and kind. Receiving it in front of my family makes it even more special. There are so many people I have to thank.
Abhishek said, “For all the directors and makers who have worked with me over the last 25 years, who have believed in me and given me opportunities, it hasn’t been easy, but it has definitely been worth it.”
Abhishek Bachchan gave message to young actors
Holding the Black Lady tightly, Abhishek also gave a message to the new actors and said that this is what is achieved with 25 years of hard work and faith. He appealed to everyone to never stop believing, if you have a dream, believe in it, believe in yourself and pursue it continuously.
