Abhishek Bachchan after winning Best Actor award for I Want To Talk
After winning the Best Actor trophy for I Want To Talk, Abhishek said, “This year I complete 25 years in the film industry, and I cannot remember how many times I practiced a speech for this award. This has been a dream, and I am just so touched and humbled by this. To receive it in front of my family is even more special.”
Abhishek also delivered a mesmerising performance at the prestigious event, paying a heartfelt tribute to his father, the legendary Amitabh Bachchan. Taking over the stage, he performed a spirited medley featuring some of Big B’s most memorable songs, celebrating his remarkable journey in cinema. In one touching moment, Abhishek stepped down to greet his mother, Jaya Bachchan, who appeared emotional as she watched her son honour his father.
Besides Abhishek, Akshay Kumar, Ananya Panday, and Siddhant Chaturvedi also delivered electrifying performances.
There was a tie this year for Best Actor in a Leading Role (Male). Kartik Aaryan also bagged the award for Chandu Champion. The nominees were: Abhishek Bachchan (I Want To Talk), Ajay Devgn (Maidaan), Akshay Kumar (Sarfira), Hrithik Roshan (Fighter), Kartik Aaryan (Chandu Champion), and Rajkummar Rao (Stree 2).
