It is auspicious to plant a banana tree behind the house and in the north-east direction.

Shami plant

Shami plant is considered very auspicious from religious and astrological point of view. This plant is very dear to Shani Dev. By worshiping it, all the problems of life go away. According to Vastu Shastra, if Shami plant is planted with right direction and rules then wealth and good fortune increases in the house. Shami plant should not be kept in the bedroom. It is considered prohibited to install it in the north direction.

Doing this causes financial problems. Shami plant should be planted in the south direction. Shami sapling should be planted after sunset on Saturday. Before planting a tree, the mantra Om Sham Shanaishcharaya Namah should be chanted.
