Rajasthan Royals (RR) young sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s parents and two brothers were present at the Wankhede Stadium on Sunday, May 24. He had come to watch the IPL 2026 match against Mumbai Indians (MI). In this match, RR, captained by Riyan Parag, defeated MI by 30 runs and officially qualified for the playoffs. Batting first, RR scored a big score of 205/8. In this, Dhruv Jurel scored 38 runs on 26 balls, while Joffra Archer played a stormy innings of 32 runs on 15 balls. In reply, RR restricted MI to 175/9 in 20 overs. Although Suryakumar Yadav scored 60 runs and Will Jacques (33) and captain Hardik Pandya (34) also played quick innings, but they could not overcome the pressure of the Royals bowlers.
Joffra Archer was the hero in bowling. He took 4 wickets for 17 runs at an economy of just 4.20 in 4 overs. Vaibhav’s parents came to watch MI vs RR match
After the victory of Rajasthan Royals, when the fans and spectators started coming out of Wankhede Stadium, Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s family was also seen among them. His parents Sanjeev and Aarti, elder brother Ujjwal and younger brother Ashirwad were seen leaving the stadium. Vaibhav’s family came out of the VIP enclosure, which is meant for team officials, players’ families and other special guests. They were going out comfortably without any extra security. Even after this big victory of Rajasthan Royals, his family looked quite calm and comfortable.
Although Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s family had come to Mumbai to watch this match, the young batsman did not bat in this match. He was out after scoring just 4 runs on 6 balls. However, Suryavanshi’s early dismissal did not have much impact on the Royals’ batting. Dhruv Jurel’s composure in the middle order and Jofra Archer’s explosive batting at the end ensured that RR posted a strong score and set a difficult target for MI.
