Ajayraj Singh Chandel, the elder son of former MP Ashok Singh Chandel, who was imprisonment in Agra’s Central Jail in the mass murder, died in Lucknow late on Monday night due to illness.
Many supporters from Hamirpur reached his residence in Kanpur to console them. At the same time, after the death of the son, Ashok Chandel has got 72 hours of parole.
Significantly, Ashok Chandel has once been an MP and a four -time MLA. He was imprisoned by the High Court in 2019 after he was acquitted of the lower court in the mass murder in Hamirpur on 26 January 1997. Since then Ashok Chandel is detained in Agra Central Jail. Among the two sons of Chandel, 40 -year -old son Ajayraj Singh Chandel was suffering from kidney disease. Whose treatment was going on at Medanta Hospital in Lucknow.
On Monday night, Ajayraj died in Lucknow during treatment. Here Ashok Chandel’s family members met DM Ghanshyam Meena with parole. On which the DM approved 72 hours of parole for completing the necessary documents. Ashok Chandel’s younger son Abhayraj Singh said that there is a possibility of reaching Kanpur from Agra by late Tuesday. After this, the brother’s body will be cremated.
