VD 15: Vijay Deverakonda And Keerthy Suresh’s Film Gets An Official Launch, See Pics From Pooja Ceremony

Vijay Deverakonda’s 15th film tentatively known as VD15 has been officially launched. An interesting part of the official announcement is that the film unites Vijay Deverakonda with Keerthy Suresh.

The two were seen in the film Mahanati, however they weren’t paired opposite each other in the film, neither were they seen sharing screen space together, which makes VD 15 their first official collaboration.

Sri Venkateshwara Creations, who are producing the film, took to their social media page to share the announcement, along with pictures from the pooja launch. The post read “A Wild Beginning.. LOVE – RAGE – BLOOD The most anticipated @TheDeverakonda x @storytellerkola’s #SVC59 has began today with an auspicious Pooja Ceremony.#VDKolaMassThaandavam Begins..”

The pictures featured Vijay Deverakonda dressed in a blue t-shirt and black trousers, while Keerthy Suresh was seen in a blue and beige half-saree. The pooja ceremony was attended by Hanu Raghavapudi, Dil Raju and Allu Arvind as well. Directed by Ravi Kiran Kola, who is known for directing films such as Raja Vaaru Rani Gaaru (2019), Ashoka Vanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam (2022) marks his first union with Vijay Deverakonda. The title of the film is rumoured to be Rowdy Janardhan.

Vijay Deverakonda was last seen in Kingdom an action thriller film written and directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri. Co-produced by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, the film also features Satyadev and Bhagyashri Borse. It is intended to be the first installment of a duology, and follows a police officer who is assigned to go undercover on a case that brings him to meet his estranged brother, a smuggler. The film received mixed reviews at the box office.

Meanwhile, Keerthy Suresh was last seen in Uppu Kappurambu a comedy drama film produced by Ellanar Films and released by Amazon Prime Video. It was directed by Ani I V Sasi, with the screenplay written by Vasanth Maringanti.
