In South City-2, on Tuesday evening, two youths traveling in a car openly committed hooliganism with a woman in the middle of the road. The accused not only did obscene acts and molested the woman, but also abused her and damaged her car when she protested.
After committing the crime, the accused fled from the spot threatening to kill the woman. On the complaint, the police registered a case at the Sadar police station on Tuesday and started investigation.
According to the police, in the complaint, the victim woman, resident of a well-known society located on Sohna Road, told that on Tuesday she had come to South City-2 area for some work. In the evening, when she was passing near Sheeshpal Vihar, two unknown youths traveling in a Delhi number car stopped their car in front of her car. According to the victim woman, as soon as the car stopped, both the youths started molesting her and behaved in a very objectionable and indecent manner. When the woman strongly opposed this and asked to call the police, both the accused became enraged.
When she protested, he started abusing the woman publicly. Not only this, the accused attacked and vandalized the victim’s car with the intention of damaging her property. Seeing the nearby people gathering, the accused fled from the spot in his speeding car, threatening the woman with dire consequences and directly killing her. The victim woman was extremely frightened by this entire incident and she immediately informed her family and the police about the matter.
The investigating officer said that a case has been registered on the complaint. The car had Delhi number. A police team has gone to Delhi to identify and arrest the accused. The footage of all the CCTV cameras installed around the incident site is being scrutinized.
