The movie’s performance in non-Kannada regions has been particularly noteworthy. The Hindi version has found tremendous acceptance in Maharashtra, Gujarat, and the Delhi-NCR belt, while southern states like Kerala and Tamil Nadu have shown sustained growth through positive audience feedback.

With its India net at ₹360 crore and global gross crossing ₹500 crore, Kantara 2 has already entered the list of the year’s top three highest-grossing Indian films. Trade analysts predict that, given the current momentum and the lack of major competition until Diwali releases, the film could surpass the ₹600 crore mark domestically and approach ₹800 crore worldwide by the end of its run.

Critics and trade watchers alike have hailed Kantara 2 as a rare example of a rooted regional story achieving national and international acclaim. Rishab Shetty’s direction and performance have drawn particular praise, while the film’s mythological and spiritual undertones have resonated deeply with audiences across languages.

For now, Kantara 2 stands tall as a box office juggernaut, proving once again that authentic storytelling can transcend linguistic boundaries and captivate the entire nation.
