Was a fight with her husband the reason for this step?
Galuru: A mother killed her two children and then committed suicide in Bhuvaneshwari Nagar near Bagalkunte. The bodies of Bhuvan (1), Brinda (4) and mother Vijayalakshmi were found hanging. The incident came to light when Vijayalakshmi’s sister visited her house on Thursday night. Ramesh and Vijayalakshmi, originally residents of Maski, Raichur, were married for five years. In the initial investigation, the police suspect that there was a dispute between Vijayalakshmi and her husband over some issue. The husband works in a mall in Bengaluru, while the family is originally from Raichur district. It is suspected that the woman took this terrible step due to some domestic dispute or mental stress. However, no suicide note has been found so far, due to which this mystery is deepening for the police.
What did the police find at the scene?
When the neighbors saw the door of the house closed for a long time, they informed the police. Police reached the spot and broke the door and found the bodies of all three hanging in the room. Police suspect that the woman first strangled the children and then hanged herself from the fan. The investigating officer says, “Initial investigation has revealed family tension, but the investigation is still going on.”
Weeds in the area, neighbors said, “Can’t believe it”
There was silence in the area after the incident. Neighbors say that the family was of very simple and peaceful nature. No one had any idea that something like this could happen. Many people said that the woman was looking troubled for the last few days, but no one took it seriously.
The question still remains – what happened that evening?
Her husband Ramesh worked in a mall. The exact cause of death is not yet known. The bodies have been sent to Victoria Hospital for postmortem. Bagalgunte police has reached the spot and is investigating. Relatives have alleged that Vijayalakshmi’s husband had committed suicide. Ramesh had remarried and was threatening to divorce his wife.
