Is This Malla Reddy College Of Cinema?

What on earth is happening at Malla Reddy College? Has an educational institution meant to shape young minds turned into a promotional playground for the film industry?

Recently, Malla Reddy himself hosted an event promoting Toxic, an A-rated film known for its intense violence and vulgar content, in front of college students, including 17-year-old first-year undergraduates.

Earlier, the campus hosted an event for Animal, another A rated film.

Now, his daughter-in-law, Preethi Reddy, has taken the spectacle further by hosting Adarsha Kutumbam with Trivikram, Venkatesh and Srinidhi Shetty. To add insult to injury, a holiday has reportedly been declared for October 30 to encourage students to watch the film.

Preeti Reddy made that announcement as well while Trivikram and the senior citizen actor Venkatesh clapping.

These films have absolutely no connection to education, science, technology, or scientific advancement.

Is this the purpose of a college, or has education become a convenient backdrop for film promotions and political publicity?

Students join colleges to gain knowledge, build careers and develop character; not to become a captive audience for celebrity events and commercial film campaigns.

An educational institution must uphold academic discipline and responsibility, not sacrifice its purpose for publicity.

If Malla Reddy and Preethi Reddy are seeking political mileage, they should pursue it on political platforms, not by turning college campuses into promotional stages.
