Mumbai, Maharashtra: The much-anticipated trailer for the series ‘Akka’, starring Keerthy Suresh and Radhika Apte, has been released, offering a glimpse into a high-stakes rivalry.
The series, produced by YRF Entertainment and directed by Dharmaraj Shetty, delves into the powerful kingdom of Pernuru, where women lead and fiercely protect their dominion. It is set to premiere on Netflix on October 30.
Keerthy Suresh portrays Bhavani, an impeccable leader and fighter, who faces a formidable challenge from Radhika Apte’s character, Rudra. Rudra seeks to challenge the long-established legacy of Pernuru, setting the stage for intense action sequences and impactful dialogues. Netflix’s press note highlights that ‘Akka’ explores themes of power, loyalty, family, and revenge, driven by the clashing ambitions and beliefs of Bhavani and Rudra.
