The first look teaser takes us into the world of and Bobby Deol, a father and daughter preparing to fight for their country. Here are more deets.
Alpha first teaser out
Alpha makers took to social media and released the first look of the movie, starring Alia Bhatt, Sharvari, and Bobby Deol. However, Sharvari seems to be missing from the first look.
The 1-minute 55-second teaser introduces Alia Bhatt as an 18-year-old and Bobby Deol as her father. On her birthday, her father (Bobby) asks her to begin their mission, Alpha, which, as per the trailer, they have been prepping for a while.

The dialogues for the film have been written by Ishita Moitra, and the story has been penned by Uday Chopra.
However, the film’s teaser did not find many takers on Reddit. One netizen wrote, “Alia can’t do action scenes,” while another commented that Bobby Deol cannot do a Haryanvi accent, “Actions scenes look like a joke, giving parody vibe. Also, Bobby can’t do Haryanvi accent sounds fake af.”

Alia to play an assassin, not a spy in Alpha?
As per a report, Alia Bhatt will not play a spy, but an assassin in YRF’s upcoming movie. “Alpha is definitely a major turn for the YRF Spy Universe. It presents a lead character who is an assassin, not a spy that we have seen all leads play earlier. For the first time, Aditya Chopra is giving us an origin story that introduces a character that is more grey, more of an anti-hero in tonality. It is refreshing because otherwise it would be extremely boring for us to watch,” said the source to Bollywood Hungama.

For the unversed, Alpha was slated for a Christmas 2025 release, and after being delayed multiple times, it will finally be released on July 3, rather than July 10.
Alpha is all set to clash with Huma Qureshi’s Baby Do Die Do. The first teaser of the Huma film was released yesterday and has garnered more positive audience reactions than Alpha.
