Actor Suniel Shetty has shared a belated birthday wish for his Border co-star Sunny Deol, praising him as a wonderful, warm-hearted and rock-solid person.
On Tuesday, Suniel took to his official X account, formerly known as Twitter, and posted a photograph of himself with Sunny from their time shooting the film Border. Alongside the picture, he shared a heartfelt message expressing his love and respect for the actor.
“A day late with the wish Sunny Pa… but never a day short of love and respect for you! Stay the wonderful, warm hearted and rock solid man you’ve always been. More strength more happiness and all my love to you… always @iamsunnydeol (sic),” Suniel wrote.
Sunny celebrated his birthday on October 19. On Monday, his son and actor Karan Deol also shared an emotional birthday message for his father, expressing gratitude for his guidance and support.
“Happy Birthday, Papa! So lucky to have you by my side. From all the laughs we share to everything you’ve taught me, every moment with you is special. Love you always,” Karan wrote.
Several other members of the film industry also extended their wishes to Sunny on his special day.
Filmmaker Siddharth P. Malhotra described Sunny as a true hero, a legend, an incredible father, a wonderful son, a great friend and, above all, a beautiful human being.
Highlighting the actor’s personality, Malhotra said Sunny’s warmth, simplicity and kindness left a lasting impression on everyone who worked with him. He added that people did not merely admire Sunny but developed a deep affection for him, with his personality inspiring entire film units to go the extra mile.
