Mawa Modol Coaching Centre: In Kanker, Chhattisgarh, local youth are provided free preparation for various competitive examinations. Today, Additional Secretary to the Central Government, Ms. Caroline Khongwar Deshmukh reached here. Who praised this initiative.

Chhattisgarh News: Ms. Caroline Khongwar Deshmukh, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, reached the aspirational district Kanker today. He visited the Mawa Modol Coaching Institute and Central Library started here. Thereafter, she reached the Government Special School for the Hearing Impaired in village Kodabhat, where she interacted with the disabled and deaf children.

Overview of Kanker Central Library

Ms. Deshmukh, Additional Secretary to the Government of India, visited the Central Library of Kanker and interacted with the students visiting there. This central library has been built in Kanker with the aim of providing a conducive environment and study material to the local youth for the preparation of various competitive examinations. In this library, college students study books based on different subjects every day. The Additional Secretary appreciated this initiative of the State Government. He also signed his name in the visitors register of the library.

Mawa Modol coaching has been started for career guidance.

Went and discussed with the students. This coaching institute has been started to provide better preparation and career guidance to the students of remote tribal areas for competitive examinations. In the coaching institute, talented youth of Kanker district are being prepared for various competitive examinations including CG, PSC, SSC, Vyapam. Additional Secretary Ms. Deshmukh also appreciated this. He said that providing study facilities for preparation of UPSC, State PSC and other competitive examinations is a good effort to groom the talents of the district. Congratulating all the participants, he said that the students of Kanker should not only get selected in the public services of the state, but also establish their identity through services in the country and abroad under the guidance of their hard work and the institute. Ms. Deshmukh visited various classes and gave her best wishes to the students while taking information about their studies and their future strategy through competitive examinations.

Additional Secretary spent time among deaf and dumb students

During her stay in Kanker, Additional Secretary to the Government of India, Ms. Deshmukh also reached the Government Special School for Hearing and Visually Impaired located in village Kodabhat. Here the disabled students with special needs welcomed him with sign language. During this, disabled children sang a welcome song and presented paintings prepared by themselves. This special school is 50 seater. Classes are conducted up to class 12th in the school and a total of 45 students are studying, which includes 33 hearing impaired and 12 visually impaired children. Free residential and boarding facilities are available to all students in the special school campus. There are also plans to start smart classes in this school in the near future. Additional Secretary Ms. Deshmukh, while appreciating the means and resources available here, also talked about providing training in various disciplines as per the interest of the children along with education, so that disabled and visually and hearing impaired children can grow up and become self-reliant.
