Rinku Singh D-Company Threat: The news of Indian team’s star batsman Rinku Singh receiving threat from an underworld gang has come to light. Mumbai Crime Branch itself has disclosed about this. According to the information, the cricketer has received this threat from the gang of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim. He had sent threatening messages to Rinku’s promotional team thrice between February and April this year. In that threat, Rs 5 crore was demanded from the cricketer. After this threat given by D Company, the police team came into action. Two people have also been arrested in this case.

5 crores demanded from Rinku Singh under threat from underworld gang

Rinku Singh is continuously playing T20i cricket for Team India. Recently also went to Dubai with the Indian team for Asia Cup 2025. In the final match, he played his first match of the entire tournament against Pakistan and also scored the last run for India. But, the way he has received threats from the underworld gang has surprised everyone. The police have also arrested two people for threatening left-handed batsman Rinku. One accused has also confessed to his crime.

Both the accused have been arrested from West Indies

Both the accused have been arrested from West Indies in the case of threatening the cricketer. The name of one is Mohammad Dilshad and the other is Mohammad Naveed. According to reports, the West Indies Police arrested both the men making the threats and handed them over to India on August 1, 2025.

Both the accused were arrested by the police for demanding ransom of Rs 10 crore from his son Zeeshan Siddiqui after the murder of former MLA Baba Siddiqui. At the same time, both the accused confessed their crime that they had also demanded ransom of Rs 5 crore from cricketer Rinku Singh.

Mumbai Police itself disclosed this

According to Mumbai Police, Zeeshan Siddiqui had received threatening mails from the gangster between April 19 and 21, in which ransom was demanded. Rinku Singh’s promotion team received messages thrice and this happened between February and April. After which the police came into action and arrested both of them on the spot.
