How Shantanu Naidu became a close friend of Ratan Tata
Shantanu started working at Tata Elxsi in 2014 after completing his engineering. One day the idea of saving stray dogs from vehicles on the road came to his mind. For this he made reflective collars, which shine at night and are visible to the dogs. His project named ‘Motopause’ went viral on social media. After being featured in the Tata Group newsletter, he wrote a letter to Ratan Tata asking for funding. Ratan Tata himself was very fond of dogs, so he called Shantanu to Mumbai and praised him a lot. From here the deep friendship between Ratan Tata and Shantanu started. After this, in 2018, Shantanu completed his MBA and then became the executive assistant of Ratan Tata. Since then his career continued to move upwards.
