Popular television actress Dipika Kakar, despite recent health challenges, made a comeback to the screen alongside husband Shoaib Ibrahim for their new music video, ‘Mehndi Se Likhde Mera Naam’.
Sharing glimpses from the shoot on her Instagram, Dipika confessed to being extremely nervous initially. However, she revealed that Shoaib’s unwavering support and encouragement helped her overcome her anxiety. “I was scared, nervous… will I be able to perform… will I be able to deliver what the song requires… but one person who stood behind me as a rock as always and made me believe that I am meant to be here ‘In Front Of The Camera’ and he kept telling me ‘Once a Star… Always A Star’ yes that was Shoaib,” she wrote in an emotional post.
The ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ actress further stated that Shoaib took on all the pressure, ensuring she could enjoy her performance and look her best. This dedication, she believes, led to what she considers her best music video to date. Dipika also expressed heartfelt gratitude for the overwhelming love and appreciation showered on the song by her fans. “The Love that YOU ALL have showered on me, The warmth, The appreciation means the world to me… Thank You all for giving Mehndi Se Likhde Mera Naam so much love. This one is going to be most special for me!”
