Music director Ismail Darbar recently opened up about his tumultuous relationship with filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali. During this, Ismail said that even if Sanjay offers him Rs 100 crore, he will never work with him. Along with this, he also talked about the relationship between Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai.

Ismail has worked with Bhansali in popular films like Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai and Shahrukh Khan’s films ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’ and ‘Devdas’. Ismail revealed that Bhansali’s decision to cast Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Devdas’ led to his rift with Salman Khan. Talking about this, Ismail said, ‘When I needed work, he gave me ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’, and when he needed me, I left all my work for him. After all, he was my godfather in the industry. My heart tells me that his relationship with Salman deteriorated because he took Shahrukh for ‘Devdas’. Salman supported him even when ‘Khamoshi’ flopped. Isn’t this obvious? If I help you twice and the third time you go to pick up my competitor, how upset will I be?’

Ismail was further asked whether Salman was not cast in the film because of his affair with Aishwarya Rai, to which he replied, ‘The news of their fights was covered in the media. We felt very bad. They were so close, they shouldn’t have fought, but all that is in the past. Salman is also intelligent enough to never talk about this.
