Smartphone maker Vivo has launched its new mid-range 5G phone Vivo Y31s 5G in Malaysia. The biggest feature of this phone is its Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, 6,500mAh powerful battery and 50 megapixel primary camera.
New Delhi: SmaFamous smartphone manufacturing company Vivo has launched its new mid-range 5G smartphone, Vivo Y31s 5G, in Malaysia. This phone comes with a powerful battery, new processor and great camera. It is expected that it will make its special place in the mid-range segment. The price of Vivo Y31s 5G in Malaysia has been kept at RM 1,499 (i.e. around Rs 35,200). This phone comes in only one variant, which has 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. Customers can buy it in two colors: Black and Purple from Vivo Malaysia’s official website and authorized retail stores.
Vivo Y31s 5G phone runs on OriginOS 6 operating system based on Android 16. It has a 6.74 inch full HD display, which is its biggest feature. The company claims that its peak brightness of 1,050 nits will provide an excellent viewing experience even in bright sunlight. Vivo is promoting it as ‘Sunlight Display’.
For performance, this phone has Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor. With 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage, this phone will be very good for multitasking. Talking about photography, there is a dual camera setup behind it, which includes a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel Bokeh sensor. A 32-megapixel front camera has been provided for selfies and video calls.
This phone comes with all modern connectivity features like 5G, NFC and USB Type-C. It also has support for call recording and audio recording. However, the company has clarified that it will not support Hi-Fi audio.
To power the phone, it has a large 6,500mAh ‘BlueVault’ battery, which supports 44W FlashCharge fast charging. The weight of this smartphone is about 209 grams. The special thing is that it comes with IP68, IP69 and IP69K+ rating, which means it will be protected from dust and water to a great extent. These ratings make the phone more durable and reliable. Vivo has launched this phone in the market keeping in mind those customers who want a phone with good battery life, a strong camera and 5G support.
