Kia recorded sales of 32,017 units in September 2026, while its July–September tally rose 38.51% to 89,259 units
Kia posted strong growth in September 2026, with Seltos leading volumes and Sorento adding to the brand’s sales momentum. Total sales stood at 32,017 units, up from 22,700 units in September 2025, translating into growth of 41.04%. This represented an increase of 9,317 units year-on-year.
Compared with August 2026, when Kia sold 29,042 units, sales increased by 2,975 units or 10.24%. Five of the six model lines listed registered sequential growth, with Carnival being the only exception. It was the highest monthly sales registered by Kia India till date.
Kia Sales September 2026 – Seltos Leads
Seltos remained Kia’s largest contributor with 12,593 units, more than doubling its September 2025 tally of 5,816 units. Growth stood at 116.52% YoY, while sales increased 7.49% over the 11,716 units recorded in August. Seltos accounted for 39.33% of Kia’s September volumes and contributed 6,777 units to the brand’s overall year-on-year increase.
Sonet followed with 9,493 units, registering 5.24% growth over 9,020 units a year earlier. Compared with August’s 9,048 units, sales improved 4.92%. With a 29.65% share, Sonet and Seltos together accounted for nearly 69% of Kia’s monthly sales. has started and is expected to launch next year.
Carens Clavis ranked third with 6,319 units. This was down 13.89% from 7,338 units in September 2025, although sales improved 3.71% over August’s 6,093 units. The combined model line contributed 19.74% of Kia’s September total.
Syros Grows, Sorento Adds 1,739 Units
In September, Syros ICE and EV sales totalled 1,848 units, up 297.42% from 465 units a year earlier, albeit on a low base. Volumes also increased 6.08% over August’s 1,742 units. Syros sales have regained momentum in July this year. Monthly volumes had slipped to around 500 units when the lineup comprised only ICE variants. With the EV joining the range, combined sales are now approaching 2,000 units a month.
Newly launched Sorento has recorded 1,739 units in its first full month of sales. This was up sharply from 365 units in August . Its increase of 1,374 units accounted for approximately 46% of Kia’s overall month-on-month volume gain.
Carnival sales declined to 25 units from 61 units in September 2025, a drop of 59.02%. Volumes also fell 67.95% compared with the 78 units recorded in August. which is planned for launch soon. Bookings are open.
Kia Q3 2026 Sales Rise 38.51%
For the July–September quarter, Kia recorded 89,259 units against 64,443 units in Q3 2025. Seltos led the quarterly performance with 36,850 units, up 123.16% from 16,513 units. Its increase of 20,337 units accounted for nearly 82% of Kia’s net quarterly growth. Seltos also held a 41.28% share of the brand’s Q3 sales.
Sonet recorded 27,454 units, growing 12.57% over 24,388 units in the same quarter last year. It contributed 30.76% of quarterly volumes, taking the combined contribution of Seltos and Sonet to just over 72%.
Carens Clavis volumes totalled 17,764 units, down 18.37% from 21,762 units. It was the only listed model line to register a year-on-year quarterly decline, despite retaining a substantial 19.90% share of Kia’s sales.
Syros volumes reached 4,893 units, up 204.48% from 1,607 units. Sorento added 2,104 units during the quarter, while Carnival recorded 194 units, growing 12.14% over 173 units a year earlier.
