Punjabi singer Rajveer Jawanda passed away at the age of 35. He was admitted to Mohali hospital for 11 days after a road accident near Baddi, where he breathed his last on 8 October.
Punjabi singer Rajveer Jawanda died on the morning of October 8 at Fortis Hospital in Mohali. He was only 35 years old. Rajveer met with an accident near Baddi in Solan district while going to Shimla, due to which he suffered serious injuries to his head and spinal cord. Rajveer was swinging between life and death for the last 11 days. Due to his sudden demise, there has been a wave of mourning in the entire entertainment industry.
When will the last rites of Rajveer Jawanda take place?
According to media reports, post-mortem of Rajveer’s body was done at Civil Hospital, Phase-6, Mohali. After this, his mortal remains will be taken to his ancestral village Pauna in Jagraon, Ludhiana. Singer Amy Virk told that the last rites of Rajveer Jawanda will be held on Thursday, October 9 at 11:00 am in Pauna village of Jagraon in Ludhiana district of Punjab.

A close friend of Rajveer Jawanda revealed that his wife had appealed to him not to go on a 1300 cc high-powered motorcycle trip, and the same trip led to a tragic accident that took away his life. Even Rajveer assured his wife that he would return home soon. Rajveer leaves behind his wife and two children.
Who was Rajveer Jawanda?
Rajveer Jawanda was born in 1990 in a Sikh Jatt family of Jagraon tehsil of Ludhiana district of Punjab. Rajveer’s father Karam Singh was a Punjab Police officer. He was very fond of singing since childhood. Although, he had served in Punjab Police for some time, but later he left the job and started focusing completely on his songs. He sang many popular songs like ‘Jor’, ‘Sohni’, ‘Rabb Karke’, ‘Tu Disda Painda’, ‘Morni’, ‘Dhiyan’, ‘Khush Reh Kar’, ‘Jogiya’, etc.
