New Delhi: The Chief of Army Staff, General Upendra Dwivedi, addressing a gathering on Vijay Diwas, said that the strikes on terror hubs during Operation Sindoor were a direct message to Pakistan that India will not spare supporters of terrorism.
At the Kargil War Memorial in Drass, General Dwivedi said, “Operation Sindoor was a message to Pakistan as well as a response to the Pahalgam terror attack, which was a deep wound for the entire nation. This time India not only mourned but also showed that the response will be decisive.”
“The trust demonstrated by the citizens and the support extended by the government led the Indian Army to respond decisively. Any force that attempts to undermine the unity, integrity, or sovereignty of India, or endanger its people will face an appropriate response. This represents the new reality for India,” he added.
