Huang is the head of Nvidia, a trillion-dollar firm in the centre of the AI revolution. Having insider access to significant advances in AI by such companies as Meta, OpenAI, and Tesla, Huang provided some unique insights into the future of work, AI infrastructure, and economic transformations through advanced technology.
“AI is the greatest technology equaliser”
Huang says that AI is not only taking away jobs, but it generates new ones as well. He added that AI helps people create products that others are ready to purchase, and that drives the economy and the labour market. Huang described AI as the great equaliser, and it is possible to be a creator or a coder now. “You would have had to have known C++ or Python. Just now you must speak to AI,” he said.
This, in his opinion, reduces the distance between thoughts and action. To him, creatives are turning technical, and technical people are becoming more creative. He said, Everyone is an artist now; everyone is an author now. The only difference is that people who do not use AI will be substituted with those who use it.
Every company will become an AI company
Huang has foreseen that in the future, there would be two factories in companies; one would be the physical-based factory, and the other one would be the AI-based. Providing an example of Tesla, he added that this model will soon be applicable to any industry, not just the tech one. He stated that any industrial company will be transformed into an AI company.
Nvidia is already betting on such a future. Huang disclosed that the firm will spend half a trillion dollars to construct AI supercomputers in Arizona and Texas within four years. He said that this infrastructure would assist in the creation of trillions of dollars in value created by AI.
Small teams, massive impact
Stressing the potency of small AI teams, Huang revealed that approximately 150 researchers in such companies as OpenAI or DeepSeek did manage to develop products that could be estimated at 20 to 30 billion dollars. It is akin to 200 million dollars per head. It is leverage that no industry in history has ever had, he said, referring to the immense productivity and impact that AI opens up.
