During the Collector-Commissioner conference in Bhopal, Chief Secretary Anurag Jain said that 100 percent attendance of teachers should be ensured in government schools. Emphasis was also laid on enrollment rate, quality improvement and transparency through e-attendance app.
Quality of education is the foundation of any developed society. With this in mind, on the second day of the Collector-Commissioner Conference held in Bhopal, Chief Secretary Anurag Jain clearly said that 100% attendance of teachers should be ensured in government schools. He warned that strict action would be taken against teachers who are negligent in education. He also directed to improve the enrollment rate of children in schools and pay special attention to the quality of education.
Development impossible without education: Chief Secretary
The Chief Secretary said that education is the most important link in the roadmap of developed India. Without this, development goals cannot be achieved. He said that it is necessary to fix the accountability of teachers’ training and school management, so that children get the opportunity to study in a better environment.

Emphasis on teacher training and local participation
There was a special discussion in the session regarding teachers’ training and community participation. Emphasis was laid on increasing the participation of local people and School Development Committee for the repair of government schools located in inaccessible areas. Anurag Jain said that the schedule of training programs should be decided by forming a group of best teachers with teaching skills, so that the level of education remains equally high in the entire state.
E-attendance app will increase transparency
Secretary School Education Dr. Sanjay Goyal said that under “Developed Madhya Pradesh 2047”, the aim is to provide high quality and value based education to every child. For this, e-attendance app has been implemented to ensure 100 percent attendance of teachers. At present 94 percent attendance has been recorded in Rajgarh district.
Focus also on Anganwadi and Nipun Bharat Mission
Secretary of Women and Child Development Department, G.V. Rashmi said that ‘Aadharshila Framework’ for children aged 3 to 6 years and ‘Navchetna Framework’ for children below 3 years of age have been implemented in Anganwadi centres. Under Nipun Bharat Mission, work is going on to ensure 100 percent enrollment in Anganwadis. Principal Secretary of Tribal Affairs Department, Gulshan Bamra said that more than 93 percent admissions have been done in the ashram schools and hostels run by the department and the system of inspection through Parakh App has been started.
Collectors shared best practices
Collectors of Shajapur, Chhatarpur, Neemuch and Jhabua presented their best practices related to Nipun Bharat Mission, Adarsh Anganwadi Project and quality education.
