Madhya Pradesh News: In the first session on the second day of the Collectors-Communications Conference, the innovation of the record room of the revenue department in Jabalpur was appreciated as useful and exemplary. This innovation has changed the experience of viewing the revenue records of the general public. Commissioner Public Relations and then Collector Jabalpur Deepak Saxena said in the presentation of the short film that the atmosphere of the renovated revenue archives of Jabalpur is now like the bank’s locker room. With this initiative, the workers of the record room along with the general public have also got rid of the dirty and the effort to find records.

This revenue record, which has special importance for generations of families, is not only safe now, but also where the record is kept, there has been transparency in relation to it and the necessary information is now accessible to all. The applicant can also get this information sitting at home and can also detect the location of the case in the records from the kiosk installed outside the record room. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav congratulated the Jabalpur district administration for this initiative, appreciating this innovation, which made the life of the general easier during his stay in Jabalpur.

No one needs a peon to remove the file

Commissioner Public Relations Saxena said that often the condition of the record room of the revenue department remains the same everywhere. Information about the dying files in settlements was often limited to some babus and bharatas. The common people could not get their own revenue records. The record room was renovated to change this situation. Plastic boxes were used instead of cloth bags to repair iron raks and keep their paint and record. Each case file was taken out of the bag and placed in a plastic foil in a plastic box.

All digital from tehsil to collectorate

Tehsilwar color coding was done on the box with the help of colored stickers. The box was printed and pasted on the details sticker of the case, the Madhya Pradesh. Coding was done according to the location of the rack, shelf, plastic box and the case file kept in it. Rack and his shelf were given unique number. The code number of the location on each case file and plastic box was pasted with the sticker. All the information related to the location of the case file was prepared and put on it. This increased step towards good governance is feeling easily and ease in achieving records of revenue records.
