1. Mulethi and Aloe Vera Mask – Mulethi is an Ayurvedic medicine that brightens the skin naturally, while aloe vera gel lightens the dark spots on the skin. For this, take 1 teaspoon mulethi powder and 2 teaspoons fresh aloe vera gel, then mix both and apply on the face and wash after 15 minutes. This will whiten the skin and lighten the spots.
2. Flaxseed gel – Flaxseed is rich in omega-3 fatty acids and antioxidants. It lightens skin blemishes and gives a natural glow to the face. Flaxseed gel is considered very good for natural brightening and pigmentation in the skin. To make this gel, take 2 teaspoons of flaxseed, boil it in 1.5 cups of water till it becomes like a gel, then filter and cool it and store it in a glass bottle. Apply a light layer on the face every night before sleeping. Wash off after 20 minutes or you can leave it overnight. It makes the skin soft and lightens blemishes.
3. Potato and lemon spot treatment – Potato contains enzymes that cleanse the skin, and lemon contains vitamin C which helps in removing pigmentation. Pigmentation and skin blemishes can also be removed with the help of potato and lemon. For this, grate 1 small potato, extract its juice and add a few drops of lemon to it, then apply it on the spots on the face for just 10 minutes and wash it with cold water. Do this only 2 times a week. If the skin is sensitive, then avoid this treatment. Both lemon and potato naturally bleach the skin and remove pigmentation.
