Maruti launched the updated Baleno facelift last month, and today, one of its key rivals was launched at Rs. 6.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Here’s what this new car offers.

2026 Toyota Glanza Facelift Launched
The car launched is none other than Baleno’s badge-engineered sibling, the Toyota Glanza Facelift. It is priced between Rs. 6.99 lakh – 10.49 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs. 8.23 lakh – 12.49 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).
In comparison, the outgoing model was priced between Rs. 6.73 lakh – 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs. 7.93 lakh – Rs. 11.71 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). While the entry price has not increased much, the about Rs. 1.5 lakh increase at the top-end is due to the addition of a new V (O) trim that gets Level-2 ADAS.
Two new colours have been added: Digital Teal Green and Bluish Black.

Design Changes
Like the Baleno, visual updates focus mainly on the car’s front. The updated face includes a new grille (with the ADAS radar) as part of the tweaked bumper, plus new fog lamp housing. Like the Baleno, the brand logo now sits above the front grille. Other additions, such as the chrome revised garnish and a new side skirt, complete the Glanza’s exterior changes.
New Petrol Engine
As with the Baleno, the outgoing 1.2-litre four-cylinder K12N NA petrol engine (89 bhp & 113 Nm) is replaced by the 1.2-litre three-cylinder Z12E NA petrol engine (82 bhp and 112.4 Nm). In CNG mode, the engine develops 68.8 bhp and 101.8 Nm of torque. The five-speed manual and AMT gearboxes remain unchanged. This time, Toyota also launched the much-awaited CNG-AMT variants, which were missing on the outgoing model.

2026 Toyota Glanza Feature Updates
The updated Glanza gets new features like Level-2 ADAS, ventilated front seats, a Clarion sound system, a wireless phone charging pad, and a shark fin antenna. The ADAS suite adds several key features, including adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, advanced emergency braking, and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), to name a few.
