Actress Sonali Bendre has revealed that she still feels afraid of dancing, even years after appearing in the hit song ‘Humma Humma’, prompting a light-hearted exchange with Bollywood dance icon Madhuri Dixit on the grand premiere episode of the quiz reality show ‘Kon Honar Crorepati’.

During their conversation, Madhuri recalled Sonali’s performance in the popular song and praised her dancing skills. Sonali responded playfully, asking the show’s team to share a recording of Madhuri complimenting her performance.

“Look who’s saying! I have a request for the Kon Honar Crorepati team: please send me this clip where Madhuri ji is praising my dancing… I want it!” Sonali said.

Madhuri then asked whether Sonali had been afraid of dancing in the past and whether she had overcome the fear.

“I haven’t overcome it to this day. I stopped dancing!” Sonali replied.

When Madhuri reminded her that she had performed in ‘Humma Humma’, Sonali joked, “I don’t know how I did it!” Madhuri responded by assuring her that the performance had been amazing.

Sonali made a special appearance in ‘Humma Humma’, composed by A.R. Rahman for Mani Ratnam’s 1995 film ‘Bombay’, which starred Arvind Swamy and Manisha Koirala. The song became a major hit and continues to enjoy popularity among music lovers.
