PM Narendra Modi will inaugurate the 9th edition of India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2025 on Wednesday. Its theme is “Innovate to Transform”. IMC 2025 will showcase new advancements in telecommunications and emerging technologies.
India Mobile Congress: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the 9th edition of India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2025 at Yashobhoomi in New Delhi on Wednesday at around 9:45 am. It is Asia’s largest telecommunications, media and technology event.
It is being jointly organized by the Department of Telecommunications (DOT) and Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI). This program will run from 8 to 11 October. Its theme is “Innovate to Transform”. It will showcase India’s commitment to leveraging innovation for digital transformation and social progress.

IMC 2025 will showcase new advancements in telecommunications and emerging technologies. It will bring together global leaders, policy makers, industry experts and innovators on one platform. The program focuses on key topics such as optical communications, semiconductors in telecommunications, quantum communications, 6G and fraud risk indicators. It reflects India’s strategic priorities in next generation connectivity, digital sovereignty, cyber fraud prevention and global technology leadership.
More than 1.5 lakh people will attend India Mobile Congress
More than 1.5 lakh people from more than 150 countries will participate in this program. More than 7,000 global delegates and more than 400 companies are expected to attend. Over 1,600 new use-cases in areas such as 5G/6G, AI, smart mobility, cyber security, quantum computing and green technologies will be showcased through over 100 sessions and over 800 speakers.

IMC 2025 also emphasizes international cooperation, with delegations from Japan, Canada, the United Kingdom, Russia, Ireland and Austria participating.
