On June 12, expect light to moderate rain in parts of Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal. The weather department has also issued a warning for heavy rain, thunderstorms, and gusty winds (40-50 kmph) in the hilly areas of Coimbatore, and in Nilgiris, Vellore, Tirupattur, Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri, Erode, and Salem districts.
