Uttarakhand Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami launched the audio version of the book ‘Meri Yojana’ prepared by the Program Implementation Department at the Secretariat on Tuesday. On this occasion, he said that in this book, information about public welfare schemes run by various departments has been made available at one place, so that common people can easily get information about the schemes. The Chief Minister said that the aim of the government is to ensure that information and benefits of the schemes reach every eligible person on time. The book ‘Meri Yojana’ will prove to be an important initiative in this direction.
Complete information about central and state government schemes on one platform
The Chief Minister said that in the book, various public welfare schemes of the Central and State Government have been compiled in simple and easy language. In this, detailed information about eligibility, benefits and application process of schemes related to self-employment, skill development, education, women empowerment and other important areas is given.
He instructed the officers that the departments should keep innovating to ensure that the public welfare schemes reach the last person. Besides, government orders and government instructions should also be issued in simple language as per the understanding of the general public so that more and more people can take advantage of them.

Chief Minister Dhami said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has become the elected Prime Minister of the country who has completed the longest tenure. Under his leadership, India is setting new standards of development and moving rapidly towards the goal of a developed India. He said that the Central Government is providing a strong foundation for the development of the country through new policies and laws. Along with this, Uttarakhand is also receiving special support from the Central Government, which has given new impetus to the development work of the state.
Rapid development in road, rail, health and education sectors in Uttarakhand
The Chief Minister said that with the continuous financial assistance of the Central Government, there has been significant improvement in the road, rail and air connectivity in Uttarakhand. The development of health, education and infrastructure has also gained momentum. He said that the government is trying to ensure that the benefits of development reach the remote and hilly areas of the state. In this direction, various projects are being worked on rapidly, which is improving the living standards of the people.
Youth and women are getting new opportunities through self-employment schemes
The Chief Minister said that due to the working style of the double engine government, the economy of the state has become strong and the per capita income is continuously increasing. He said that efforts are being made to make youth and women self-reliant through Chief Minister Self-Employment Scheme, Mehak Kranti Scheme, Aroma Valley, Mission Apple and other employment based schemes. New opportunities for self-employment and livelihood are being created through these schemes.
Audio version to be aired on All India Radio and radio stations
On this occasion, Secretary of Program Implementation Department, Shri Deepak Kumar said that the audio version of the book ‘Meri Yojana’ will be broadcast through various radio stations including All India Radio. He said that the department has so far published four editions of this book and its digital version has also already been released. The audio version will help in spreading information about the schemes to more people. Director General of Information Department Shri Banshidhar Tiwari was also present in the program.
