Bihar Assembly Election: The Election Commission announced the dates of Bihar assembly elections on Monday. There will be elections in two phases. Voting will take place on 6 November and 11 November. The results will come on 14 November. So far, seats have not been divided in the ruling alliance NDA and opposition grand alliance.
After the announcement of election dates, the stir has intensified to decide the seat sharing in the NDA and the Grand Alliance. According to information received from sources, there will be no party in the NDA. BJP and JDU can contest elections on equal seats. About 205 seats are to be divided between the two party. Bihar has 243 assembly seats. The remaining 38 seats will be given to other associate parties. These seats are likely to be distributed between Lok Janshakti Party (LJP), Hindustani Awam Morcha and Rashtriya Lok Samata Party (RLM).
Chirag Paswan can get 25 seats
Such information has been revealed that the BJP has offered 25 seats to LJP chief Chirag Paswan, 7 seats to Netan Ram Manjhi and 6 seats to Upendra Kushwaha’s RLM.
