The maximum heat is likely to be recorded in parts of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar on May 25. The temperature can reach 47°C in Achalda, Achnera, Auraiya, Banda, Prayagraj, Mirzapur and Jhansi of UP. The mercury will also be near 47°C in Daudnagar and Sasaram of Bihar. The temperature is expected to be 43°C in Bhopal of Madhya Pradesh and 42°C in Indore-Ujjain. A warning of heatwave and strong surface winds has been issued in Delhi too with 44°C.
