India vs Afghanistan ODI: The ODI series between India and Afghanistan is going to start from June 13, in which Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya can also be seen playing. After both the players passed the fitness test, the suspense over their playing against Afghanistan is now over. The Science and Sports team of BCCI’s Center of Excellence gave a clean chit of fitness to Rohit and Hardik. The series against Afghanistan may see the return of Hardik Pandya to the ODI team after 14 months. Whereas Rohit Sharma can be seen playing any ODI match after January this year.
Rohit- Hardik passed fitness test
Both Rohit and Hardik were injured during IPL 2026. Rohit Sharma was a victim of hamstring injury while Hardik Pandya had back spasm. But now both have completely recovered from their injuries.
Hardik is bowling 10 overs comfortably
Hardik Pandya was continuously in BCCI’s Center of Excellence since June 2. BCCI sources gave information about this to PTI. He told that from June 2 till now, Pandya has done everything in the Center of Excellence, which is required in the match. He also bowled 10 overs and the good thing is that everything is fine. Hardik is not facing any problem.
Rohit-Hardik’s fitness is important for Team India
The 3 ODIs against Afghanistan are important for India’s preparations for the ODI World Cup 2027. In such a situation, passing the fitness test of Rohit and Hardik is not only important from the point of view of the Indian team but is also good news for the cricket fans.
India-Afghanistan ODI series schedule
The first match of the ODI series between India and Afghanistan will be played on June 13 in Dharamshala. After this, the second ODI will be held in Lucknow on June 17. Whereas the third and last ODI will be played in Chennai on June 20.
