She was married to the Sisodia Raj family of Mewar, her husband was Maharaja Bhojraj of Chittorgarh. Bhojraj was the son of Maharana Sanga. Even before marriage, Meerabai was drowned in Krishna devotion. His devotion began when a procession came in the neighborhood.

Meerabai asked mother, who is my groom?

It is said about Meerabai that one day the procession came in the neighborhood. She climbed on the roof with friends to see the procession and started looking at the groom. During this time, there was a curiosity in his mind to know who his groom is. He immediately asked his mother who is my groom, then his mother pointed to the idol of Shri Krishna and said that this is. At the same moment, God settled in Meerabai’s heart and accepted him as a husband and became absorbed in his devotion.

When Meerabai reached her in -laws’ house

When Meerabai was married at the time of marriage, her mind was only engaged in God at that time. He was married to Meerabai’s wish and was married to Rajkumar Bhojraj of Mewar. However, after marriage, he did not leave devotion to Krishna and went to temples every day and performed devotion, beautiful music and devotional dances, which people of his in -laws did not like. After some time, husband Bhojraj passed away. After this, Meerabai was completely drowned in Krishnabhakti. One day it came that the queen of the palace i.e. Meerabai left everything and reached Vrindavan for Krishna Kanhaiya in 1524 AD, where she gave all her life to Krishna devotion.
