Nithiin is gearing up to surprise with a refreshing new avatar in Alias Rukmini, an intriguing entertainer presented by Natural Star Nani.
Backed by Unanimous Productions, the film is directed by Dhandora fame Murali Kanth Devasoth and produced by Deepthi Ganta.
The makers have now announced December 4 as the worldwide theatrical release date. This indeed is a perfect release window, with several biggies arriving for Christmas and Sankranti.
At the heart of Alias Rukmini is Krishna, an ordinary man leading a seemingly uncomplicated life until love brings an unexpected secret into the picture.
The release date poster shows Nithiin sporting a checked shirt, formal trousers and spectacles. He appears as a typical middle-class man, walking through a crowded setting in the court.
The oversized silhouette of a woman dominates the backdrop, creating an element of intrigue around the female lead and hinting at the mystery central to the narrative.
The film has already attracted attention with its announcement glimpse, which struck a chord with audiences through its quirky humour.
The unusual premise, coupled with Nithiin’s distinctive characterization, has generated encouraging buzz.
Production is moving ahead at a brisk pace, with just one shooting schedule remaining. Post-production is progressing simultaneously.
The makers will soon begin the musical promotions with the release of the first single.
Jomon T John ISC handles cinematography, while Vijai Bulganin composes the music.
