Srinidhi Shetty may have scored a blockbuster with the KGF franchise, but is she already charging Rs 7-8 crore per film?
For the past few months, there have been reports that Srinidhi has increased her remuneration to around Rs 8 crore. The actress has now reacted to these rumours and dismissed them.
Srinidhi said she has acted in only a few films so far and questioned how she could demand such a huge amount at this stage of her career.
She made it clear that the reports about her charging Rs 8 crore are only rumours.
Srinidhi also said that if earning money was her only goal, she would have already done around 20 films by now. She added that she does not accept films only for money.
Despite getting pan-India recognition, Srinidhi has been very selective with her projects.
According to her, good content and a strong role are her first priorities. She said she has followed this rule right from the beginning of her career and has rejected several offers because of it.
Srinidhi also said she is ready to work for a lower remuneration if the project and her character are good.
For her, getting recognition as a good actress is more important than earning big money.
