Pawan Kalyan Says Hari Hara Veera Mallu Celebrates ‘Sanatana Dharma’: Courage Of Unsung Heroes…

Pawan Kalyan’s much-awaited movie, Hari Hara Veera Mallu, is finally out in theatres. Directed by Krish Jagarlamudi and A M Jyothi Krishna, the film follows the story of celebrated Veer Mallu, who is given the mission to recover Kohinoor diamond and rescue a city from the Mughal soldiers.

The initial audience feedback to Pawan Kalyan’s movie is positive. Amid this, the actor shared a note on his official X (formerly Twitter) account about his movie Hari Hara Veera Mallu.

In his tweet, the Hari Hara Veera Mallu actor mentioned that his film celebrates Sanatana Dharma. “The Jizya tax, a punitive levy imposed by Mughal emperor Aurangzeb on Hindus for practicing their faith, stands as a stark symbol of oppression, yet historians have long softened its brutality,” he wrote.

A part of his note further read, “HariHaraVeeraMallu boldly unmasks this injustice, exposing the erasure of Hindu suffering and the looting of India’s wealth, like the Kohinoor’s theft. With unwavering resolve, this saga celebrates Sanatana Dharma and the courage of our unsung heroes who defied tyranny.”

 

About Hari Hara Veera Mallu

For the unversed, Hari Hara Veera Mallu’s music has been composed by MM Keeravaani. While Pawan Kalyan plays the lead role, the star cast also includes Bobby Deol, Nidhhi Agerwal, Nargis Fakhri, Sathyaraj, Jisshu Sengupta, among others.

In an interview with India Today, Pawan Kalyan clarified that his film is a work of fiction, inspired by historical elements. “It is a fictitious story… about a character called Harihara Veeramallu, who goes all the way to Delhi to bring back Kohinoor. It is a rivalry between Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah and Aurangzeb,” he said.
