She revealed that she has already watched the story twice and was moved even more during her second viewing.

Main Vaapas Aaunga is a poignant tale of love, separation, and longing set during the Partition of India in 1947. The film marks the second collaboration between director Imtiaz Ali and singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh, following their previous success with Amar Singh Chamkila. The film features a stellar ensemble cast, including veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah alongside rising stars Vedang Raina and Sharvari in central roles.

The musical score for the film has been composed by the legendary A.R. Rahman, with heartfelt lyrics penned by Irshad Kamil. The project is produced by Birla Studios, Applause Entertainment, and Mohit Choudhary and Shibasish Sarkar under the banner of Window Seat Films.
