Khan Sir Controversy : : There has been a big twist in the recent firing incident outside Khan sir’s coaching institute in Patna. Patna District Court on Tuesday stayed the arrest of teacher Faisal Khan, popularly known as Khan Sir. This case has been registered under the Arms Act.–

- The matter came to light when bullets were allegedly fired outside Khan sir’s institute on June 2, in which a security guard was injured. After this incident, an FIR was registered against three people including Khan sir under sections 109 and 418/2026 of the Indian Justice Code (BNS) and sections 25(9), 27 and 35 of the Arms Act at Kadamkuan police station. The FIR was based on a video in which two guards were allegedly seen firing, who were later arrested.
- The hearing of this case took place before the District Judge in Patna Civil Court, where the matter related to the arrest was considered. After the hearing, the court stayed the arrest of Khan sir, giving him interim relief in this FIR case related to his security guard.
Action taken against Roshan Anand, but Khan sir not arrested?
- Earlier on Sunday, teachers and student leaders of Gyan Bindu GS Academy had demanded the immediate release of director Roshan Anand. Describing the arrest of Roshan Anand as baseless, he had raised the question as to why similar action was not taken against Khan sir.
- History teacher Shashank Pathak told ANI, “All the reasons given for the arrest of Roshan Anand sir have been proven baseless and the administration knows it very well; yet, he is in custody. The grounds for his arrest are completely baseless. We demand his immediate release; if Roshan sir is not released, we will go on a hunger strike.”
- Let us inform that Gyan Bindu GS Academy director Roshan Anand and his two associates, Abhishek and Gaurav were sent to judicial custody by Patna Civil Court on June 3.
- Earlier, Anand had claimed, “There is a conspiracy going on against us. After the success in Bihar Police exam results, they are trying to trap us. Farmer cold storage owners and Khan sir are together trying to ruin Gyan Bindu.”
