A story has come out from Tiruvannalai district of Tamil Nadu, which not only touches the heart, but also raises many questions in front of the society. A 65 -year -old retired soldier, S.K. Vijayan, he donated his life’s earnings, ie assets worth Rs 4 crore, Arulmigu Renongambal Amman Temple.

He took this decision after repeated humiliation by his daughters and the pain received from the family. This story not only reflects their renunciation and belief, but also tells how many times they get away from their own loved ones in old age. Come, let’s know this unique and inspiring story in detail.

Loneliness and belief of a soldier

S. Vijayan spent most of his life in the service of the country. After retirement, he expected a pleasant life with his family, but destiny had something else. He has been living alone for the last 10 years after his wife conflicts. His daughters not only neglected him, but also put pressure on his property and insulted him. This pain hurt Vijayan so much that he decided to donate all his property to the temple. This decision is a symbol of his deep faith and reverence for the temple, as he has been a devotee of Rongambal Amman since childhood.

4 crore documents found in donation box

The incident came to light on 24 June when the temple staff opened the donation box during a regular investigation. Along with coins and notes, two property documents were found in the bill, which cost Rs 4 crore. One property, which was priced at Rs 3 crore, was of one -storey house near the temple and 10 cents of land, while the other property was priced at Rs 1 crore. There was also a handwritten note with these documents, in which Vijayan clarified that this donation was made with his own will. The executive officer of the temple, M. Silambarasan, said that this is the first time that a devotee has put such a large property in the donation box.

Temple legal claim and process

Temple officials said that the documents in the donation box do not mean that the temple will automatically get the ownership of the property. For this, the donation will have to be officially registered in the Hindu Religious and Charitable Department (HR & CE). Till then these documents will be kept safe. Officials also said that senior officials have been informed in this case, who will decide further action. Vijayan firmly said, “I will not change my decision. I will soon legally name the property with the temple officials.”

Family pressure and Vijayan’s firmness

Vijayan’s story becomes more poignant when it is revealed that their daughters are now trying to withdraw this property. But Vijayan is adamant on his decision. He said, “My children also insulted me for my everyday needs. I had earned this property with my hard work, and now I have been relaxed by donating it to the temple.” This statement reflects their strong belief and self -esteem.
