The much-awaited teaser of Slumdog – 33 Temple Road, popularly referred to as Slumdog, has finally been unveiled, offering audiences a powerful glimpse into director Puri Jagannadh’s latest pan-Indian action entertainer starring Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role.
Marking the first-ever collaboration between Vijay Sethupathi and Puri Jagannadh, the film promises a compelling blend of action, emotion, and mass appeal.
The teaser begins with a thought-provoking voice-over by Vijay Sethupathi, reflecting on the harsh realities faced by society’s underprivileged. As he speaks about people struggling for survival and finding shelter beneath trees during heavy rains, the visuals establish the film’s raw and grounded atmosphere.
Soon, the teaser introduces Vijay Sethupathi in a surprising avatar—a beggar who pretends to be blind. However, what initially appears to be a helpless character soon transforms into a force to be reckoned with.
