The condition of 11 patients worsened in the fire, out of which 7 patients died on the spot, while 4 are in critical condition. The fire was so severe that the entire ward was gutted. Short circuit in icu store
According to hospital officials and preliminary investigation, the accident started with a short circuit in the ICU store or its surrounding area.
Old electric wires
The ICU had electric wires in the old and poor condition. Due to this, the risk of short circuit and other electricity hazards had increased greatly. It is being told that this was the reason that the accident like the fire spread so quickly and seriously.
Lack of fire safety system
SMS hospital did not already have adequate fire prevention arrangements. The alarm was less and it was late to help in emergency at the time of this accident.
Fire spread rapidly due to stored goods
It is being told that there were paper files, medicines and samples of blood tube there. They burnt quickly, causing the fire to spread rapidly and filled the ward and filled the ward.
Serious condition of patients
Most of the patients in ICU were unconscious or were on life support, so it was very difficult to take them to a safe place. At the same time, the family members of the patients said that the hospital staff was ignoring the initial warnings and delayed in timely saving the patients.

There was chaos in the hospital premises, and people wandered around to know the news of their families. After this accident, the hospital staff and guards have been facing serious allegations of negligence. Sheru, a resident of Bharatpur, said that his mother was admitted in the ICU ward. When the smoke started appearing, he immediately informed the staff, but no one paid attention.
