Samsung is reportedly preparing to give its flagship Galaxy S series a yearly refresh with a new lineup that could include the Galaxy S27, Galaxy S27 Plus, Galaxy S27 FE and Galaxy S27 Ultra.
Much like always, the Ultra model will be the top-of-the-line device and is expected to get a design overhaul coupled with powerful hardware, advanced cameras and a larger battery. While Samsung has not yet officially revealed anything about the Galaxy S27 Ultra, a tipster has recently hinted that the device could land with multiple colour options. Not only that, but the CAD renders of the device also leaked previously, giving users a hint about how the device may look. Here’s everything we know so far about the Galaxy S27 Ultra.

According to tipster Ice Universe, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra will be available in five colourways, including Black, Blue, Light Pink, and White. Aside from that the device is also said to be available in Violet, which would be a special colour option.

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra is said to come with a 6.9-inch 2K LPTO display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The display is also said to get an AR coating and a 2nd-gen privacy display. The device is tipped to be 7.97 mm thick and built with an aluminium frame.
The handset could draw its power from the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen Extreme 6 chipset along with up to 16 GB of LPDDR6 RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 5.0 storage. Other than that, it may also house a 5,700 mAh battery, which could be paired with 60 W of fast charging and 25 W of MagSafe charging.
In terms of camera, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra may come with a 200MP main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide camera with a 1/2.5-inch sensor, and a 50MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom. Furthermore, the leaks also suggest that the device will also come with a 16MP sensor at the front for selfies and video calls.
Samsung is also said to offer 7 years of software updates, including seven years of security patches. To keep the device protected against dust and water, it’s also rumoured to bag IP68 certification.

Samsung has not yet officially announced anything, but if the company follows its usual launch timeline, then the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra could launch in late February or early March of 2027.

Early reports suggest that Samsung could price the base variant of the upcoming Galaxy S27 Ultra somewhere around Rs 1.6 to Rs 1.7 lakh. However, these are just early speculations, and the official prices will only be revealed at the time of launch.
